Being in the dog house has been given new meaning in Peru. When someone gets hit by a car, the custom is to build a mini tomb for them and place it along the road where they were killed. The mini tombs look like dog houses.
There are probably 50 of these tombs in just our 15 minute drive that we make everyday. And supposedly there used to be many more but it was getting too crowded so the government took them out and put plants in the way so more cannot be built. A lot of people get smashed crossing the Pan Am. Good thing I only cross it twice a day.
